We are a small family run stud in Devon, specialising primarily in Welsh Ponies of Cob Type. We pride ourselves on breeding quality stock and producing our horses to the highest standards not only for the show ring but in all other disciplines as well. None of our goals have been achieved by breeding vast numbers of foals destined for the sale ring or meat man. All our foals are sold from home and only once a suitable home is found no matter how long that means they remain with us. Breeders have a responsibility to care for the stock they breed, either by limiting the number they breed each year, being realistic as to what should remain entire and not shunning the idea of gelding colts or by ensuring they can still provide care for the animal beyond weaning if unsold.

Sarah Thompson has over 20 years riding experience, a BSc in Equine Science and a BHS Preliminary Instructors certificate. She rides both astride and sidesaddle, has ridden up to Elementary level in dressage, done some affiliated BSJA and ridden in countless hunter trials and unaffiliated one day events. She regularly shows, both in hand and under saddle, at Championship, Breed, County and Agricultural Shows. She is also a keen equine and canine artist and photographer.
